As our Industrialisation Lead, you will be at the forefront of driving the efficient transition of products from design to production. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong presence on the shop floor, where you will be leading activities between departments and ensuring seamless coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of product designs
- Provide input to design team regarding any modifications to optimise production processes
- Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes via process mapping, shop floor layouts and optimisation strategies
- Conduct process capability studies, takt time analysis, and lead Kaizen events
- Conduct PFMEA to identify and mitigate any risks
- Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to standards throughout the process
- Oversee data collection and analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- HND/Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Background in manufacturing engineering/industrialisation, preferably in aerospace or similar regulated environment
- Proven experience of managing a multi-disciplined engineering team
- Hands on, shop floor approach to driving change and making improvements
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong leadership and influential skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
