Are you an experienced Support Worker/Senior with a passion to help & support staff achieve more, and supporting people with learning/physical disabilities achieve better lives? Are you looking for your next step in the Management chain?

We have an Assistant Manager vacancy, working with the Service Manager, to support two individuals who experience autism, living in their own home. This role will be based in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Please note, interviews will be held week commencing 20th May 2024 at our Head Office in Waterbeach

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you are:

  • Experienced at supporting people who have learning and physical disabilities and have experience of Autism
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Medications
  • Proactive, dynamic and adaptable
  • Person centred
  • Able to recognise that families have an important part in the person’s life and can engage with them effectively and efficiently, in a professional manner
  • Experienced at mentoring and supporting staff and leading a team positively and proactively
  • Driven, passionate and able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
  • Able to think outside the box
  • Able to undertake administration tasks in a timely and organised manner to a high standard
  • Confident in following support agreements, plans and policies at all times
  • Able to work as a team but also confident at lone working
  • Are a driver with a Manual Licence and your own car

If you have (or are working towards) a Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 3, minimum) we would like to hear from you.
