We are working with a primary school in Enfield that is seeking a reliable and hardworking Caretaker Assistant to join their site team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping a school safe, clean, and running smoothly.
Working Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm
Wednesday: 7:00am - 6:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and securing the school site each day
Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance, and general caretaking duties
Ensuring the school is safe, clean, and well-presented for pupils and staff
Supporting with deliveries and setting up rooms when required
Reporting any health & safety issues to the Site Manager
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role (school experience desirable but not essential)
Good practical skills and the ability to carry out basic repairs
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Awareness of health & safety procedures
