We are seeking a dedicated HR People Partner, with a passion for fostering positive working relationships, to join a widely recognised and well loved UK business.
Client Details
You'll be working for one of the UK's most well-loved brands, having been established for nearly 150 years! With a number of distribution depots based all across the country, this will role will be based at their largest site based in Enfield. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the 24/7 operation set up (this role is office based, Monday - Friday) and working alongside the 500 employees based at site.
Description
The People Partner will:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with employees, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with senior management to drive the HR strategy
- Provide advice on HR best practices
- Work with union representative as needed
- Facilitate performance management and employee development programs
- Manage employee relations issues and workplace conflicts
Profile
A successful People Partner should have:
- Extensive knowledge of HR practices and policies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid understanding of employment legislation
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships
- Prior experience working within FMCG, Transport, Distribution, Manufacturing or other related industry (think shift patterns and unions!)
Job Offer
