Randstad is currently recruiting for an Assistant Occupational Therapist to join the team at Enfield Council.

About the Role:You will be supporting both adults and children with physical and learning disabilities, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role involves conducting assessments and treatments within the community, including carrying out risk assessments to ensure safety and promote independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake functional assessments of service users in the community

  • Support treatment plans designed by qualified Occupational Therapists

  • Work with individuals with complex physical and/or learning disabilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and make recommendations for equipment and adaptations

  • Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to promote independence and improve quality of life

  • Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a community or local authority setting

  • Experience supporting individuals with physical and learning disabilities

  • Understanding of occupational therapy principles, risk management, and person-centred planning
