As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be working closely with children aged 2-19 who have autism. Your main responsibilities will include providing support in the classroom, assisting with individualized education plans, and implementing strategies to promote their learning and development.

You'll collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for the children. Your role will involve providing one-on-one support, helping with daily activities, and fostering social and emotional growth.

The right candidate:

  • Must have experience working with young people with autism
  • Team Teach training (Desirable)
  • Be patient and nurturing
  • Have a passion for helping young people
  • Have a Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one
  • Have a right to work in the UK
