WH Bence have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the team.

Location: Yate, Bristol (BS37 5NG)

Salary: From £24,950 - £27,040 per annum depending on experience

Warehouse Operative – The role:

As a Warehouse Operative, your daily duties include maintaining a tidy and orderly workshop environment, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines. This entails managing various waste materials like wood, metal, cardboard, and general waste, and ensuring unobstructed walkways for safety. Additionally, you will have keyholding responsibilities for store and goods areas, with direct reporting to the Stores Manager for guidance and support. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 08:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Warehouse Operative - Key Responsibilities:

- Maintaining a tidy workshop whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines

- Waste management – wood, metal, cardboard, general waste

- Keeping walkways clear

- Keyholding responsibility – stores/goods in areas

- Occasional unloading of deliveries

- Local collection of parts, when required

- Due to the nature of this role regular lifting will be required

- Ad hoc duties

- Reporting to Stores Manager

Warehouse Operative - You:

- Forklift licence preferred; previous experience is essential (refresher training can be provided)

- Driving licence is essential, previous experience driving vans preferred

- Able to manage and prioritise your own workload

- Successful applicants will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and hard working with a positive attitude
