Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Outreach Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English and Maths lessons to children of varying ages, followed bypersonalisedmentoring sessions tailored to their interests and individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic English and Maths lessons to students aged 4 to 18+.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the learning styles and abilities of each student.
- Provide one-on-one mentoring sessions based on students' interests and specific areas for growth.
- Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other authorities to support students' overall development.
Qualifications:
- QTS (QTLS), PGCE or Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Maths, or related field. (Preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children of diverse ages and abilities. (Needed)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Knowledge of educational technology and resources is a plus.
