Located in the heart of Epsom, the multi-award winning Epsom Social is Surrey’s first food hall – spotlighting the best of the London and Surrey street food scene.

At Epsom Social, our top team ensure that our customers experience the best of global food, drink and events all under one roof.

Our food hall features six tempting kitchens offering a range of cuisines and innovative menus. We now operate two of these kitchens internally and are developing a third concept to launch in late spring. The venue is well established in Epsom and we are growing with the launch and operation of these food concepts internally. 

The Role:

A new kitchen manager head chef role within an existing venue to manage our internally operated food concepts and to be part of the development and launch team for new concepts. As a Kitchen Manager head chef, you will make sure everything in the kitchen runs smoothly during a busy service. You'll know how to get the best out of your team by encouraging and supporting them to work well together, ensuring every dish served is of the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef or in a similar role in a restaurant or food hall setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment. 
  • Experience managing a busy kitchen, training and developing a high performing team who constantly exceed targets
  • Ability to develop and follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality fish & chips.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant.
  • Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen tohelp to guarantee the care of your entire team and visitors.
