Do you have a minimum of a level childcare qualification?
Are you experienced working with children between 6 months and 5 years?
We are working with a NHS trust whom requires a Nursery Assistant to join them on an ongoing temporary contract.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and providing a nurturing environment for young children.
Duties:
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
- Engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations
- Drive initiatives to enhance the learning experience for children
Experience:
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Leadership skills to guide and support children in their development
- Proficiency in English language
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare environment is preferred
