We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our growing business, which prides itself on high standards and exceptional service. As part of the Mirka family, you will be part of a team that is recognised and rewarded for its efforts, in line with our Gold Investors in People award. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for the automotive industry and a drive to develop new opportunities.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop new and existing opportunities with distributors and end-users.
  • Network at industry events to promote our products and services.
  • Present, demonstrate, and sell Mirka systems effectively.
  • Create and present customer business plans, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Accurately forecast sales and product demands.
  • Complete all administrative requirements efficiently, including journey planning to maximise customer visits.
  • Ensure the SAP system is kept up to date with relevant data.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with colleagues and customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Over 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience within a key account or business development role.
  • Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, with a positive attitude.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound judgement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Resilience and the ability to manage objections.
  • High degree of self-motivation and drive.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Valid driving licence with the ability to drive safely and legally.
