As a Design Engineer, you'll lead the independent management of projects, overseeing their seamless progression from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will not only involve the production of detailed designs using cutting-edge software but also the development of novel construction methods and materials, ensuring each project reaches its pinnacle of creativity and quality.

This role would suit a Draughtsperson / CAD Technician with stage design experience looking to further their career in Structural Engineering with potential to become a specialist within a growing company as they aim to become a market leader.

THE ROLE:

  • Independently manage projects, ensuring coherent construction drawings are produced and optimal construction methods are employed within budget and timelines.
  • Oversee multiple projects, collaborate with the team to meet deadlines, and facilitate workshop fabrication by producing detailed designs and coordinating adjustments.
  • Develop and specify suitable build methods and materials, support junior team members' progression, and maintain efficient communication internally and externally, including occasional travel for client meetings and site surveys.

* Design Engineer / Draughtsperson or similar* Background using CAD for Stage Design / Scenic Construction / Theatre Production / Stage Props or similar * Based commutable to Erith
