Carrington West is working closely with an industry leading civil engineering contractor who due to growth, are recruiting a Procurement Manager to support their rail preconstruction function.
As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for executing the bid procurement strategy, engaging with the supply chain, and sourcing and evaluating suitable supply chain partners.
This will suit a Procurement Manager who has proven experience working in a similar role for a main civil engineering contractor in rail.
The suitable Procurement Manager will:
- Have proven experience in a similar role for a main contractor in construction/rail.
- Have experience of procurement and supply chain management.
- Hold CIPS cert (Chartered Institute Procurement and Supply).
- Possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ideally be competent using 0365 software.
