HGV Class 1 Drivers on Days for immediate starts in Evesham
Pure Staff are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers working on days for the following role below.
HGV Class 1 Day Drivers required immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in Fresh Produce wholesale and distribution across Worcestershire. Our customer in Evesham is one of our largest clients based in the Worcestershire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous positive feedback.
The customer is looking for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers who are flexible to work Monday-Friday and weekends but also be flexible towards the work due to support their customers' needs.
Our client will be accepting HGV Class 1 Drivers who fit the criteria listed below:
Duties of a Class 1 Driver working on Days-
- Easy trunking to an RDC or a couple of drops
- Modern, well looked after trucks
- Collection of palletised loads
- 1-4 drops- Depending on the route
- Electric pump truck or forklifted off
The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver will have-
- A valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
- 6 Months experience is preferred but not essential
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Card
- Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
Start times can vary but we are looking for Class 1 Drivers on Days who are available to start around 07.00am. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
Pay rates-
Days: 16.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
Weekends & Bank Holidays: 19.00 per hour PAYE ONLY
Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book holiday.
