This job is no longer availableEveshamTemp - PermOur client has a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working experienced warehouse operative to join their established dispatch team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all parts are picked, packaged, and shipped as required to achieve customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
- Produce and work from picking lists, to fulfil and dispatch customer orders
- Processing orders ensuring that the customer SLA & instructions are fully implemented
- Ensure that all orders are fulfilled within specific order cut-off timeframes
- Ensure the correct handling, palletising, and store of products in a high standard
- Ensure all dispatches of electrical and / or hazardous products adhere with EU/UK trading compliances
- Carry perpetual Inventory counting (Cycle counts) and variance investigations
- Ensure all international dispatches adhere with appropriate export documentations
- Ensure that the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy, with empty boxes removed from the pick locations
- Potential risks, problems or product defects are to be reported immediately to line manager.
. Essential skills and Experience
- Good teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks whilst under pressure
- A self- driven person with a positive outlook and excellent time keeping skills
- Strong communicator, that enjoys working as part of a fast-moving team
- Experience of handheld bar-code scanners an advantage but not essential
