We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading Financial Planning & Investment Management firms. With a long-established reputation for excellence, they combine the scale of a national presence with the culture of a close-knit, supportive team.

As their Financial Planning division continues to grow, they’re now looking to add an experienced IFA Administrator to their Exeter office.

The Role

As an IFA Administrator, you’ll be supporting a team of successful Financial Planners and working with a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) clients. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and compliant client servicing, with excellent opportunities to learn, progress, and grow within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to Financial Planners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Prepare for and follow up on client meetings, ensuring files are accurate and up to date.
  • Liaise with providers, process new business, and manage Letters of Authority.
  • Work closely with Paraplanners to ensure excellent client outcomes.
  • Maintain awareness of financial services regulations and internal procedures.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within financial planning or wealth management.
  • Ideally working towards CII qualifications (desirable, not essential).
  • Organised, detail-focused, and proactive.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
