Our client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join their dynamic team in Exeter. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within the rural sector, contributing to every stage of the design process.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architect:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique requirements and vision for each rural project.
  • Develop innovative and practical design solutions that integrate seamlessly with the rural landscape.
  • Prepare detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and ensure design feasibility.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations, building codes, and best practices within the rural sector.
  • ARB registered with several years post qualification experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup.
  • Strong design sensibility with a passion for integrating architecture with the rural landscape.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of rural planning policies, building regulations, and construction methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
