DK Recruitment is excited to partner with our Exeter-based client in their search for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic organisation and contribute to its success.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage day-to-day financial data entry to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee credit control processes to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize outstanding debts.
  • Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Handle client billing procedures professionally and efficiently.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external accountants, ensuring clear communication and timely provision of necessary financial information.
  • Prepare and present management reports and accounts to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Reconcile multiple accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage auto-enrolment pension schemes effectively, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist colleagues as needed in various tasks; operating as a small team where everyone contributes to overall success.

About You

  • Experience working in a role with similar responsibilities
  • AAT Qualified or working towards AAT Level 4
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge or ERP systems and ability to utilise MS Office Applications
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
