Salary: £16 per hour

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent (12-week probationary period)

Job Description:

Apollo Recruit are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join their client in Exeter. As a Class 2 Driver, you will play a crucial role in our Client's operations, ensuring the safe and efficient collection of recyclable materials from residential properties.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to collect recycling from domestic properties.
2. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness.
4. Load and unload recyclable materials onto and from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of the cargo.
5. Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
2. Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
3. Digital Tachograph Card.
4. Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver.
5. Good knowledge of Exeter and surrounding areas.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
