Warehouse Operative Nights

Company Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Night Warehouse Operative to join our client's team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Working Hours: Flexible shift patterns, 6pm-2am, 8pm-4am, 10pm-6am, Sunday-Friday with a day off in the week

Hourly Rate: £11 per hour + Performance bonuses

Job Description:

As a Night Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in operations by ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfilment and timely loading and unloading of vans. The majority of your responsibilities will involve picking and packing orders, making you an integral part of our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
• Use handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment to track inventory and manage order fulfilment.
• Ensure that all products are correctly labelled, packed, and ready for shipment.
• Participate in the loading and unloading of delivery vans and trucks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Conduct routine quality checks to verify that all items meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and efficiency goals.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand and walk for extended periods.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus.
• Willingness to work the specified night shift hours
