Our client, an established planning and development consultancy with offices across the South West, are actively looking for a Graduate Town Planner to join their team in Exeter. The company offer a variety of planning services including delivering applications, undertaking appraisals, site promotion and community engagement for their clients within the residential, leisure, commercial and automotive sectors.

Qualifications:

In this instance applications are sought from candidates with a BSc and ideally an MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline and Student/Licentiate Membership to the RTPI.

Duties:

  • Carrying out research on site development potential
  • Delivering expert planning advice to clients
  • Preparing planning documents and submitting applications
  • Attending site visits
  • Preparing and submitting appeal evidence
