About The Role

As a Team Manager within our Inhouse Maintenance Service (IMS), you will be responsible for leading a team of Multi Skilled Technicians to ensure the successful delivery of operations to our customers across a geographical area in line with our business objectives. 

We have 2 positions available, one will be leading a team within our Responsive Repairs Service and the other will lead a team within the Kitchen and Bathroom Replacement Programme

You will work collaboratively within and across the business, overseeing processes and ways of working connected to completion of repairs and other associated work to achieve day to day tasks. You will ensure implementation to a high-quality and timely finish and that ensure customer expectations are met and strive for continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for ensuring you and your team operate within the appropriate policies and procedures, particularly Health and Safety regulations, making sure the working environment, our property and our customers are safe and secure at all times. You will identify and manage risks and opportunities affecting your service area and ensure all mandatory and other required training for the team is identified and completed within agreed timescales.
 
This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and is field based across Exeter and the South Hams area.

About The Candidate

To be considered for the role of Team Manager, you will:
  • Be qualified in a core trade or be qualified by experience.
  • Hold a Supervisor / Team Leader qualification (D).
    Health and Safety training – CITB, SSSTS, SMSTS, IOSH or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of quality housing/construction maintenance, response repairs and refurbishment.
  • Knowledge of and experienced in the use and application of mobile technology. 
  • Have experience of leading/motivating a dispersed team.
  • Experience of managing health and safety across multiple projects and operational teams.
  • Be able to adapt and be flexible to different customer groups.
  • Full valid UK driving licence.
