Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maximise sales and margin for the Company.
- Manage all customer accounts assigned to you, co-ordinating a profitable and professional working relationship between Company and customer.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular face to face contact.
- Work with manufacturers to maximise sales, coverage and profit potential.
- Support Branch Management to achieve the objectives of the Branch.
The Role:
- Develop product knowledge by attending supplier training roadshows and any in house product training.
- Ensure customers receive prompt, efficient and polite service at all times.
- Promote the Company image by maintaining an appropriate level of appearance relevant to your job.
- Ensure your vehicle meets the same level of presentation.
- Adopt a flexible working approach and assist Management with any reasonable overtime requests.
- Attend and participate in all branch/departmental meetings.
- Fully co-operate with and support all rotational and period stocktaking.
- Ensure the safety of yourself, customers and colleagues by complying with Health and Safety requirements at all times.
- Assist with all aspects of branch security.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by Management to aid in the efficient and profitable trading of your branch.
Preferred Requirements:
- Clean driving licence
- Experience in a field sales environment
- Technical ability for quoting
