As our Sector Support Account Manager, the job may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in the office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and the location advertised will be your contractual place of work.
Our opportunity is full time, 37 hours per week, but we would also consider applicants wishing to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and we will also try our best to consider those intending to work a job share. Your world of expertise
You will manage and further develop strong, mutually beneficial customer and stakeholder relationships within the Environment and Energy sector while delivering profitable revenue through meeting specific customer needs.
Your key duties
The Sector Support Account Manager key duties are:
- Responsible for the day-to-day support and queries from customers and stakeholders for the range of services delivered by the Environment and Energy Team.
- Provide contract management as agreed with Business leads and required by accounts, leading for example, on renewal of accounts; agreement of MoUs, Collaboration Agreements and contracts, renegotiating deliverables, and contract variations; and timely invoicing and customer reporting.
- Provide support to the Business Manager for operational plan management.
- To be able to work across the Environment and Energy team and be deployed to work on specific tasks or projects based on business needs.
- Ensure conformity to engagement and business processes to ensure consistent delivery to customer and appropriate business management information is maintained.
- The post holder will be required to travel both nationally and internationally.

As our Sector Support Account Manager, your total reward package will be up to £46,974 annually, which includes:
- £33,794 base pay
- An outstanding Civil Service pension, with an average employer contribution of 27%.

- Annual Leave starting at 27.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) rising to 32.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) after 5 years and option to buy or sell up to 5 days per year of annual leave
