4 nights on and nights off.

Monday - Thursday 21:45 -07:45

Friday 21:45-08:00

Saturday and Sunday 19:45 - 08:00

Pay £13.50 PH (nights only)

Who will you support?

You will be supporting a 44 bed, 3 floored homeless Hostel in Exeter. This hostel ensures the safety of vulnerable adults in our society. The individuals you will support may have mental health illnesses, drug and alcohol misuse, homelessness, be victims of domestic abuse and more. Your new role

  • You will be ensuring vulnerable adults' safety through their stay at the hostel via timed welfare checks.
  • De-escalating challenging behaviour and situations
  • Deliver emergency medication.
  • Clear and precise record keeping and handovers.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed which will be outlined and trained by the site manager.
  • Deliver first aid if required.
  • Light domestic chores in communal areas.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You must be reliable.
  • Similar experience is desired but not essential, similar experience may be considered.
  • You can demonstrate you can think on your feet.
  • Be compassionate and understanding about the individuals you will be looking after.
  • You can demonstrate a can do attitude.
