Special Needs Teaching Assistant

  • Job Type: Full-time, Long-term temporary to Permanant.

We are inviting dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our outstanding school in Exeter as Special Needs Teaching Assistants. This role offers an immediate start on a long-term contract, with the opportunity to apply for a permanent role thereafter. You will be working with pupils aged 3 to 19 who have a range of SEN, including severe learning disabilities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN during classroom activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote independence and social interaction among pupils.
  • Engage with a multi-sensory approach to support focused sensory work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.

  • Commitment to personal and professional development.
