Our client is looking to recruit an Exotic/Small Mammal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role is 38 hours per week, with a 1 in 10 shared full weekend rota and 1 in 10 Saturdays only. (Part time applicants will be considered). Out of hours are outsourced.
You will be working alongside small animal vets to provide care for first opinion and referral clients as well as providing advice and care for local collections.
Ideally you will have a certificate in Exotics/Small Mammals. You will be involved with the routine small animal work as needed, with support from multiple certificate and diploma-holding colleagues.
Candidates must be confident, friendly and proactive, as well as compassionate for both patients and clients.
The practice is a modern, fully equipped, RCVS-accredited 4-branch practice. It has an exotic ward along with new surgical and imaging facilities including the installation of CT scanner.
