Job Description: I am currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Providing leadership and guidance to a team of support workers

Coordinating and allocating work tasks, ensuring that support is delivered effectively and in line with individual care plans

Providing hands-on support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs

Undertaking assessments and reviews of individual care plans

Liaising with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care

Monitoring and reporting on the progress and well-being of clients

Supporting with staff training, development, and supervision

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs

Strong leadership and management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
