We have partnered with a reputable Financial Services firm, based in Whiteley, to find a Fund Accountant to join their team. If you're passionate about finance and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role offers the perfect blend of challenge and reward, with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for: - Compiling periodic bank reconciliations and providing accompanying documentation to evidence transactions
- Generating drawdown and distribution calculations and issuing notices upon client request, as needed
- Maintaining precise and accurate records within eFront and Excel working papers to track bookkeeping activity
- Undertaking preparation and input of payments for routine expenses, investment transactions and investor distributions
- Assisting in a range of accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and the creation of quarterly reports and statutory financial statements
What you will need: - Previous experience in a similar role, such as Fund Accountant / Assistant Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Assistant Financial Accountant / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant
- Studying towards / part-qualified in ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Experience in a similar industry is desirable but not essential
