Are you an Assistant Accountant looking for your next opportunity? Then this role could be for you! Our client in Whiteley is looking for an Assistant Accountant on a 6 month FTC to assist with all areas of accounting within the company. This role can be full or part time. Key Responsibilities :
- Accounts Payable – processing multiple invoices and other payment instructions
- Accounts Receivable – raising invoices for payment by external parties
- Ledger Posting – recording daily bank transactions in the various ledgers of multiple entities
- Reconciliations – reconciling transactions/balances across multiple systems/counterparties
- Ad hoc queries – supporting inbound ad hoc requests and queries to the Finance Team
- Relevant work experience in a similar role
- Highly proficient or willing to learn Excel (ie. lookups/pivot tables/IF statements)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in accomplishment of routine tasks
- Highly structured approach to analysis, record keeping, and presentation of outputs
