Senior Application Engineer

Advanced Resource Managers are currently looking to recruit the following person for one of their clients.

Job Title: Senior Application Engineer

Location: Fareham, PO15 (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days at home)

Salary: Circa 50 - 60k (Negotiable) plus excellent benefits

You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and support of client and server MMI software in Java, Python, SQL and Non-SQL Databases and other languages as required, interfacing to firmware in dedicated products.

Working as part of a team based in the UK and in Europe you will work on projects either as part of the team or where the project only requires low resources as the software team representative. You should be used to working in a project based deliverable environment and be able to follow software development processes and apply good practice.

As well as developing software for web-based applications, it would be desirable for you to have experience of product embedded firmware and/or a willingness to learn the interfaces.

This is a senior appointment within the team and will require experience operating in a similar role.

For this position you would require detailed knowledge in the following:

Software development

• Python
• REST-API
• Angular
• Other web development languages an advantage

Firmware

• Embedded code (C/C++)
• Python

Databases

• MariaDB
• MongoDB
• MS SQL

Operating Systems

• Windows (Server) OS
• Linux
