Copello Global is collaborating with a defence manufacturing firm based in Hampshire, currently in search of an Electrical Design Engineer to augment their team.
Key responsibilities for this role encompass:
Electrical design of products in adherence to customer and regulatory standards.
Experience serving as a Design Authority.
Ensuring that the company's product design and development endeavours meet quality (precision), timing (punctuality), and financial (budgetary) objectives.
Upholding professional standards throughout projects and furnishing guidance to fellow Engineers and staff on matters concerning Electrical/Electronic design, development, validation, and production aligned with pertinent standards.
Maintaining a comprehensive grasp of relevant technologies, with a specific focus on Electrical Engineering encompassing both commercial and rugged equipment.
Providing technical assistance to other departments regarding the design facets of new business ventures and furnishing requisite documentation as needed.
The ideal candidate should embody the following qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in electronic and electrical design within the industry.
Proficiency in utilising Solidworks.
Aptitude in composing and reviewing detailed technical design documentation.
A degree-level qualification in an Engineering discipline would be advantageous.
