There’s no doubt that in the role of Financial Reporting Manager, you will have high visibility, liaising with key stakeholders including the senior management team.Having secured recent investment, the business is growing fast, meaning there will be plenty of opportunities to progress in the future. As Financial Reporting Manager, your primary function will be to add value through reporting and process improvement.To succeed in the role, you’ll need strong business partnering skills and the confidence to communicate with others at all levels across the business.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
  • Producing monthly consolidated accounts and period end UK GAAP accounts
  • Working closely with the Group FC and other internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of reporting
  • Consolidating accounts for 4 entities based in the UK and overseas
  • Managing any necessary GAAP adjustments
  • Taking control of the relationship with external advisors such as auditors and tax specialists
  • Providing necessary lender documentation including financial reports, funding/utilisation requests and budgets
  • Revenue recognition and/or experience of transfer pricing would be advantageous, if not essential
What you will need:
  • Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Strong business partnering experience and ability to tell a story through numbers, challenging colleagues when required
  • Logical thinking and a natural ability to identify and solve complex problems
  • Ambitious and progressive mindset with ability to adapt to a quick changing environment
  • Previous experience demonstrating process improvement/efficiencies
