Quality Inspector
Our Client based in the Outskirts of Fareham area are looking to add a skilled and experienced Quality Inspector to their team. The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience Inspection, with strong attention to detail. The company can offer a very competitive package and is open to providing CMM training for those looking to build a career in inspection. Experience with handheld measuring equipment and inspection is essential and CMM Programming experience is advantageous. Working in a variety of industries our client supports customers within challenging sectors offering bespoke solutions. Quality Inspector Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- First off, last off and line inspection
- FAIRS Creation
- Working with hand held measuring devices
- Knowledge of CMM would be a bonus, however full training can be given
- Dimensional Inspection
- Calibration
- Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications
- Able to understand customer technical requirements and capture issues, concerns and risks and offer technical feedback to the production management team.
- Able to retrieve relevant technical information from customer models and drawings
- Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines
- Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team
- Recording of all relevant information for audit purposes.
Quality Inspector Benefits and salary
- Days based role 7am-4pm Monday to Friday
- Fantastic package on offer including company pension
- CIRCA 35,000-40,000 per annum
- Constant overtime available paid at x1.5 (Up to 10 hours per week)
