We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Coordinator to join a leading manufacturing company based in Portsmouth on a permanent basis.


This role has been created due to the ongoing expansion of the business and for the right individual there will be some fantastic future career progression opportunities.


The Quality Coordinator Main Duties:

  • Completing and conducting quality and compliance checks across the production areas.
  • Continuous Improvement activities and the resolution of issues.
  • Working closely within Production and across the Engineering teams.
  • Quality Assurance department activities.


Quality Coordinator Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Manufacturing / production background in either machining, quality, assembly or similar looking to progress. Or someone perhaps with manufacturing/production team Leading / supervising experience who understand manufacturing processes and procedures across departments.
  • Any quality knowledge experience would be an advantage but training can be given
  • IT Literate due to the systems used on site, training can be given for the more specialised systems.
  • Excellent team player who can work well across teams and great communicator.


Salary:

£30,000 - £36,000 (Includes shift allowance)


Hours:

Usual Shift

Week 1 - 06.00 - 14.00 Monday to Friday

Week 2 - 14.00 - 22.00 Monday to Friday

Please note, this role will start on a Day Shift for the first couple of months before going onto the Earlies / Lates shift pattern. Flexibility will be important to support the business needs and in the first year may require some further time on Day Shift.
