Financial Accounting AnalystFarnborough (Hybrid working)9 Month contract £29 per hourARM are currently recruiting for a Financial Accounting Analyst to join one of our clients on an initial 9 month contract. This is an exciting position where you'll be supporting the delivery of an efficient, risk-controlled Financial Accounting function.Requirements:* Analysis of overhead / administrative expense general ledger accounts. * Analysis of cross-charges between legal entities. * Providing information to the relevant departments to assist with the submission of periodic VAT returns.* Responsible for the preparation of monthly reporting of actuals to Munich and supports the preparation of statutory accounts.* Responsible for preparing the accounting and financial reporting for all products and business lines.* Responsible for correctness of financial statements in cooperation with external audit.* Ensures compliance with UK and Irish legislation. * Responsible for sign off of accounting journals, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, invoice requests, payments to suppliers, and bank transfers. * Complete and reconcile intercompany confirmations for relevant.* Implement new accounting processes and systems while ensuring Financial Integrity.Requirements: * Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge, preferably with a strong financial accounting background. * Strong academic background and good command of English.* Ideally degree-level education, preferably in a numerate discipline.* High level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail including completing detailed analysis and reconciliations.* Good communication skills with colleagues and external partners at a range of levels including Senior Management and Stakeholders.* Working knowledge of IT systems (preferably knowledge of SAP). * Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.This vacancy is being advertised by Advanced Resource Managers.
