Highpoint Recruitment are working as sole providers for all operational support roles for Farnborough International Air Show 2024.

We are looking for someone to provide full administration support to the flight operations team, processing the paperwork completed by all crew and exhibitors who are attending the show with flying or static aircraft. The paperwork needs to comply with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements, therefore attention to detail is vital for this role.

Air Crew Reception Duties:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day organisation of Aircraft exhibiting at FIA both Trade and Public - static & flying
  • Liaising with Exhibitors, Aircrew & Ground Crew responding to requests and queries
  • Collating of necessary paperwork for display aircraft i.e. aircraft display forms, insurance details, certificates of airworthiness etc
  • Liaising with AGHS (Aircraft Ground Handling Support) team regarding technical requirements/equipment for Exhibiting aircraft
  • Assisting aircrew with movement around the airfield
  • Ad-hoc duties as instructed by the Flight Operations Manager and Flying Display Director

Air Crew Reception Skills and Attributes:

  • Must be proactive and flexible

Air Crew Reception Hours:

  • 1st - 12th July, & 29 July 09:00-17:30
  • 15 to 28 July 07:30-17:30

AOC Additional days:

  • Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July
  • Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July
  • Plus the Monday 29 July

All applicants must be able to commit to the full duration of the contract. There will be a requirement to work additional hours and weekends, at least during air show weeks.
