Sopra Steria is developing a new Managed Service to replace a complex legacy Enterprise infrastructure. This will require a high level of automation and repeatable component design patterns to allow the deployment of customer business solutions within short time frames. The project will make heavy use of Windows and VMware technologies, along with Ansible, Terraform and Scripting supported by niche infrastructure and applications.

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with expertise in VMware NSX-T, F5 and VMware AVI within a Hyperconverged Infrastructure environment (HCI).

  • What you'll be doing:
  • Design, implement, and maintain network architectures and solutions using NSX-T, AVI, and Secure Linux technologies to support hyper-converged infrastructure environments.
  • Lead the deployment and configuration of NSX-T components, including logical networking, distributed firewall, load balancer, and VPN services, to enable network virtualisation and micro-segmentation.
  • Deploy and maintain AVI load balancers for modern application delivery, automation, and analytics, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments to ensure network infrastructures can support current and future growth requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network designs, configurations, change records, and operational procedures.
