Job Title: Control Room Shift Engineer
Location: Farnborough, UK
Salary: Up to 47,000

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Supporting compliance of Health, Safety and Environmental standards at all times
  • Ensuring the engineering systems are proactively monitored via the Building Management and Electrical Management systems (BMS / EMS) 24 x 7 x 365
  • Conducting engineering-based assessments on BMS / EMS based alerts, evaluating operational and customer service risk, reporting validated alarms in accordance with company procedures
  • Reporting issues pertaining to engineering systems availability and /or design efficiency, assessing technical Design and O&M information and associated schematic drawings.
  • Support Company's Preferred Maintenance Contractor (PMC) with first line incident response, containment and resolution, providing technical support and assistance to operational staff in the progression and closure of incidents.
  • Operate, monitor and report engineering services activity through the CAFM and Service Desk systems
  • Produce and distribute service performance reports on the Technical third-party suppliers in accordance with agreed service levels

Experience required:

  • A recognised level 3 or above trade qualification in a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
  • Member of a professional engineering institution (CIBSE, IMechE, IET)
  • 2+ years' experience in critical building engineering services
  • Demonstratable extensive experience of working with BMS and EMS systems
  • Demonstratable extensive experience of working with CAFM systems
