Sopra Steria is developing a new Managed Service to replace a complex legacy Enterprise infrastructure. This will require a high level of automation and repeatable component design patterns to allow the deployment of customer business solutions within short time frames. The project will make heavy use of Windows and VMware technologies, along with Ansible, Terraform and Scripting supported by niche infrastructure and applications.

We are seeking a dedicated System Administrator to join our IT team. As a System Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining an IT platform within a Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) environment with a clear focus on Active Directory, Delinea (formerly Quest) solutions, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and Thales HSMs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain Active Directory services, including user and group management, group policy administration, and domain controller configuration.
  • Administer Delinea solutions (formerly known as Quest), such as Active Directory management tools, migration tools, and recovery solutions.
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure availability and reliability of IT systems.
  • Maintain Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) to ensure the security and integrity of cryptographic keys and sensitive data.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and security updates in accordance with change management processes and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and support continuity of operations.
