Your new companyHays are looking for a new Work Shop Team Leader within Environmental Services (NOT CONSTRUCTION) to join their client and be based out of their Camberly depot. Your new roleTo provide supervision of a maintenance workshop serving a diverse range of vehicles, equipment and plant; and plan the effective use of resources to deliver a cost-effective Service and Maintenance Repair facility always ensuring first class customer service.

  • Compliance with legislative and company standards of all equipment and tools
  • Health & Safety of Workshop
  • Monitoring Fitter performance, quality and productivity
  • Maintain cost controls on behalf of Amey
  • Actively identify and develop effective ways of delivering service
  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of maintenance workshops, ideally in a supervisory role
  • Able to demonstrate workshop planning knowledge
  • Experience in performance managing teams
  • Significant "On Tools" experience
  • High level of problem-solving skills
