Software Development Pipeline Engineer
Location: Based near Farnborough, Surrey
Salary: Up to 50k

Are you looking to join a team of software engineers working on cutting-edge robotics? Our client, a leader in robotics technology, is seeking a passionate and driven Software Development Pipeline Engineer to take responsibility for their CI/CD pipeline for software development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage servers, code repositories, automatic builds, artifact generation, storage, release processes, and documentation wikis.
  • Work closely with the software engineering team to understand their needs and ensure the CI/CD pipeline meets their requirements.
  • Continuously improve and optimize the CI/CD pipeline to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.
  • Act as the liaison between software development and manufacturing sites, ensuring smooth transition of code into releasable artifacts for production robots.
  • Gather user feedback and incorporate it into pipeline enhancements.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in software development pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of build pipeline architectures and the ability to articulate their structure and purpose.
  • Proficiency in measuring the performance of the entire pipeline and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to actively listen to user feedback and translate it into actionable improvements.
