- Interpreting customer specification requirements and product selection
- Processing of customers' orders and preparation of quotations
- Co-ordination with internal departments to achieve customer requirements
- Trouble shooting and product support
The ideal Internal Sales Engineer will need,
- The ability to hold technical discussions and give technical advise to clients is essential
- Candidates who have completed a technical (engineering related) apprenticeship or been working in a technical 'hands on' role would be ideal
- Professional verbal/written communication skills
- Commercial experience would be a benefit
- Be highly organised and able to respond in a timely and effective manner
If you have just completed a technical (mechanical engineering related) apprenticeship or you've been working in a technical 'hands on' role and looking to progress into a sales office position this could be the role for you. Some previous office based sales experience useful but not essential as full training is provided. You will need confident verbal/written communication skills and the ability to deliver technical support to customers. Hours: Monday to Thursday 9 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 9 am to 3.30 pm with a half hour for lunch each day
