Description: The job is for an experienced Electric Gate Engineer to join a reputable SME in Swanley. The role involves repairing, installing, and maintaining assets to a high standard. The engineer will work with a professional team and be provided with a stocked van, laptop, phone, and other necessary tools and equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The engineer will be responsible for reactive repair and proactive maintenance of automated gates, access control, CCTV, and other security systems. They will investigate faults and inspect installations for safety compliance. The engineer will also make recommendations for upgrades and provide written and photographic reports.
Requirements: The engineer should have compliance with safety standards, DHF or Gate safe qualification, experience with installation and repair of automated gates and other security systems, and electrical qualifications (desirable). They should also have a clear Enhanced DBS certificate and experience with welding is advantageous.
Working Hours: The working hours are from 06:00-16:30.
Benefits: The company offers a company van, a no damage bonus, and a salary ranging from £27,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.

Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join an extremely reputable, family-run SME based in Swanley. For this role you will be joining a team of field engineers to repair, install and maintain automated gates and security. You will be working with a professional field and office based team, and will be provided with a quality, fully equipped and stocked van, plus laptop, mobile phone and all other tools, equipment, and uniform required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of an Multi Skilled Operative:

Reactive repair and proactive maintenance of automated gates, access control, CCTV and other security systems.
Investigating faults reported to a very thorough standard.
Inspecting installs for compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

DHF or Gate safe qualification.
Experience of installation, upgrade and repair of all types of automated gates.
Experience of installation, upgrade and repair of a variety of other security systems.
Enhanced DBS certificated verified clear (can be provided)
CSCS card

Working hours: 06:00-16:30
