Description

• Ensuring all purchase invoices are correctly coded and authorised
• Daily posting of purchase invoices
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Preparing payment runs and maintaining supplier accounts
• Handling purchase ledger queries in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing of the ledgers
• Supporting the wider Accounting & Finance team as required

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

• A solid understanding of accounting principles
• Experience in purchase ledger or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
