As a Finance Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in both sales and purchase ledger operations, helping to manage over 500 supplier invoices weekly and supporting credit control across a diverse customer base. Your responsibilities will include:
?? Purchase Ledger:
- Daily monitoring of the purchase ledger inbox
- Uploading and processing supplier invoices and credits
- Handling internal and external queries
- Onboarding new suppliers and processing overhead invoices
- Supporting bank reconciliations and weekly payment runs
?? Sales Ledger / Credit Control:
- Chasing payments and managing credit terms
- Building strong customer relationships
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoice queries
- Sending reminders and statements
- Onboarding new customers
- Reporting on VAT and duty, and tracking credit control activity
