We are excited to be recruiting an Insurance Advisor for our friendly and well-established client. The role is varied and will involve managing accounts, customer service, dealing with new business enquiries, renewals and adjustments.

Ideally you will have previous experience of property insurance, however candidates with personal lines experience will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Once trained, the successful candidate will have the option to work from home up to 3 days a week.

Responsibilities of the role

The responsibilities of the role are varied and will include:

  • Providing customer service to a high level.
  • Building long term relationships with clients, ensuring retention.
  • Ensuring that all clients are appropriately informed of all matters relating to their insurance.
  • Achieving targets through the achievement of new business and renewal figures.
  • Working in line with established administration processes to ensure all documentation are accurately produced and distributed.
  • Ensuring that renewals and Mid Term adjustments are actioned appropriately.
  • Ensuring that complaints are kept to a minimum and dealt with within the required timeframe.
  • Maintaining IT systems for processing, accounting and administration purposes.
  • Providing flexibility and support to the business, undertaking any reasonable tasks requested.

About you:

  • Previous experience within insurance.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Flexible and approachable, supporting the wider business.
  • Well organised and able to prioritise tasks
  • Able to build long term relationships with clients.
