Reed Finance is partnered with a long-established and hugely successful manufacturing business in County Tyrone, in the appointment of a permanent & full time Management Accountant.

The role:
Reporting to the financial controller and managing a small team, this is a key role within the finance team and offers the postholder variety in remit. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate accounting records, including preparation, and posting of journals to General Ledger
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, and assistance in provision of variance analysis to senior management
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet
- Integration with all departments to ensure accurate and timely control of the financial impact of transactions impacting stock, rebates, complaints, etc
- Management of Credit Control and Accounts Payable staff (4 direct reports)
- Compiling information for completion of statistical government returns and statutory returns as required
- Preparation of any government grant claims
- Ensure that internal procedures and controls are consistently applied and help develop improved systems
- Preparation of VAT (both UK & ROI) returns
- Assisting in the generation of information for annual budgeting process
- Assisting in provision of information to external auditors
About you:
- A fully qualified Accountant (ACA, CAI, ACCA, CINMA or equivalent) with at least three years’ experience in a commercial accounting role
- Fully conversant with Financial and Management Accounting principles and techniques.
- Experience in staff supervision/management
- It’s highly desirable that you have previous experience in manufacturing and/or experience with MS Dynamics
