Reed Education is actively seeking a motivated and skilled ICT Teacher for an immediate start in a long-term, full-time role within a secondary school in the Wyre & Fylde area. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the ICT curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to nurturing an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Delivering ICT lessons to students at KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback to support their development.
- Creating a positive learning atmosphere that promotes student participation and inclusion.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s ICT department.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and contributing to the wider school community.
- Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Recent relevant experience teaching ICT at KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience being advantageous.
- Demonstrated excellence in classroom practice with strong subject knowledge.
- A reliable and committed individual who can serve as a positive role model.
- Strong interpersonal skills, punctuality, patience, and confidence in working with students.
