I am pleased to be working with an established and successful company based in Flintshire, as they look to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their friendly Finance Team. Reporting to the Assistant Risk Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of credit management.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all accounts are controlled to maximise cash flow & minimise loss.
  • Maintain & monitor customer accounts.
  • Manage & maintain queries & disputes.
  • Proactively work with other departments to deal with account issues.
  • Daily banking routines.
  • Liaise with credit insurers.
  • Manage & maintain internal credit limits in line with current credit policy.
  • Operating in compliance with ISO 37301, 45001, 14001, 9001, 50001, and Code of Conduct.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Must be computer literate and experienced with computerised ledger systems.
  • Experience with SAP and Excel.
  • Can communicate with all levels of staff both internal and external.
  • Experience of working in the manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, accuracy, organisation, and deadline management.
